      Royalty-free Redistribution

      What is royalty-free distribution and when is it required?

      • OEM Coverage: This license permits the distribution of end-user software that includes our products. It is suitable if you're embedding our software in applications without exposing our functionalities via public APIs to other developers.
      • SaaS Coverage: This license permits the use of our products within SaaS platforms to deliver backend features and services to end-users. SaaS providers embedding our software can offer its capabilities indirectly through their platform, provided end-users cannot directly access or interact with our APIs.
      • SDK Coverage: If your product features a public API that exposes our functionalities to other developers, you must use an SDK license. This is necessary if your existing end-user software under an OEM license evolves to include public APIs. Note that creating or adding to code libraries for resale using our products is strictly prohibited under the SDK License
      • No Coverage Required: If Iron Software products are used internally within your organization without redistribution or public API exposure, no additional license is required.
